How can I check my mortgage balance?

If you have a Co-operative Bank mortgage, you can view your mortgage account.

If you’re a banking customer with us and have a residential mortgage with us, you can also find your balance in our mobile app and online banking.

View your mortgage details

You can see helpful details about your mortgage, including:

  • Your mortgage balance and interest rate

  • The remaining term, and if you have an early repayment charge

  • What repayment basis your mortgage is on (capital and repayment or interest-only)

To view your details, you need:

  • Your mortgage account number
  • Your date of birth
  • The postcode of the mortgaged property

We update these details on the sixth business day of each month. You may not see the most up-to-date details.

If you have a current account, savings account or credit card, as well as a residential mortgage with us, you can view your mortgage balance in digital banking.

In the mobile app

To view your mortgage balance in The Co-operative Bank app:

  1. Log in to the app.
  2. Tap your mortgage account.
  3. You should see your current balance and original mortgage amount.

To view your mortgage balance in online banking:

  1. Log in to online banking.
  2. Click your mortgage account.
  3. You should see your current balance and original mortgage amount.

If you have a new mortgage, it should show in the mobile app and online banking at the end of the month.
